In some
video games using console commands in the game disables achievements, and might
not let you earn completion for the game. One example is doom 3. This is ok if
you wish to have fun in the game and not worry about achievements. But some
console commands do not disable achievements because they do not affect the
main storyline or game. Console commands is good if you want to see what is
hidden in the game. For example their might be “Easter eggs” or hidden secrets
in a game, with console commands you can see these “Easter eggs” easily with no
clip mode. No clip mode allows your character to go through walls and objects
so you are able to see everything in the game that might be accessible through
regular means of playing. No clip mode is basically like spectating in game.
Console commands are also helpful for those who wanted to spawn in game items
that they could not use or change the way your player model looks.
