WarriorMovie

If you like UFC or MMA, then this is a movie that you will enjoy it has action and suspense.  The movie had three great moments that will make you want to watch it. Those three parts of the movie have action and suspense which makes you want to continue watching the movie unlike others that have some parts that get you bored right away.
One great part of the movie was when Tom beat up another fighter right away after he was bragging he was going to win. Even though that scene was quick it shows you how fast a fight could end in seconds of it fighting if you fight cocky and don’t’ keep your guard up. This scene shows how a person who talks a lot of trash could lose if they can’t back up their words with skill.
Another great part of the movie was when Brendan won a fight against a Russian who was bigger and stronger than he was. This part of the movie showed that size does not matter Even if you are big and strong, you won’t always win, because someone else might be a better fighter. The Russian guy thought he was good and could not lose.  That is why he lost. He was to overconfident.
One final great part of the movie was when the two brothers Brendon and Tom fought for the prize money. Both of them had two different ways of fighting in the ring.  One was more defensive and the other was more straight forward and did most of the punching. The ending was kind of dull when both brothers left together in the end.

These are some of the parts that I thought made this movie good and a reason to watch.

Oregon woman drives into pedestrians

Image result for oregon woman drives into crowd of peopleLakeisha N. Holloway age 24 drove into a crowd of people killing one woman and injuring 35 other people intentionally drove on the sidewalk intentionally while her driver’s license was suspended. She was a homeless woman with a kid living in her car. She was not under any drugs or medication while driving into the people she intentionally drove on the sidewalk without thinking twice. She had her driver’s license suspended many times in many states for bad driving habits. The vehicle she used was a 1996 Oldsmobile and it is what Lakeisha was using throughout high school and now. She was kicked out of her house by her mother in high school and amazingly completed high school without failing.

Video games

Video games do not cause violence in people as it is on how a person thinks. If they want to kill a person they could do it if they want to but most people don’t that is why most people are less violent than others.

Did you know that 65% of Americans play video games? Recent reports of people believe that violent video games are one of the reasons why their kids get involved in violent activities. I believe video games do not contribute to violence.
Video Games do not influence people to commit violent actions; instead it is shown to not have no influence in people’s behavior based on research done by a university in Florida. People who played show some change in emotions but it did not directly influence behavior. There are no actual facts or research that truly show that video games cause violent behaviors in people.
People may argue that many of the shootings that occurred because they were exposed to violent video games. One example is an 8 year old boy shot his care giver in the head after playing a shooter video game. This proves that video games can cause violence.
This is true that the boy shot his care giver after playing video games, but he said he accidentally shot her after playing with the gun. He did not say what he was doing with the gun, so video games had no effect on why he shot her. Instead, the parents of the kid should have taught him proper gun safety and kept the gun somewhere hidden or locked so he could not have reached it.
Image result for cat scan on brain              Video games increases hand eye coordination. In a recent study, people who play video games demonstrated increased hand eye coordination compared to those people who don’t play video games. No research has shown an increase of violence after playing video games.  I believe it is how a person thinks and if they are born to be more violent than others. Many scientists believe that people can be identified as serial killers based on C.A.T scan and were most of the brain activity is occurring. So there is no real reason why video games have contributed to violence.

Have you ever seen the movie Interstellar? The movie Interstellar is ok; I neither liked it nor disliked it because it had some scenes that I had a hard time believing.  The movie was  something that would have happened in a scene from the Twilight Zone when Cooper saw his daughter through the book case in different time lines.
The movie scene I liked was when cooper went through the black hole and was experiencing weird things. One of the things was Brand holding out her hand as they went through the wormhole. He  stumbled upon the weird window of the book shelf and of how he could see her daughter through different timelines. It was kind of funny since he was the one who dropped the books in the beginning of the movie.
The movie scene I disliked was when Mann tried to kill Cooper.  He lied about having a found a suitable planet to live in just to save his own life. He  tried to take control of the situation. and tried to flee and leave the other behind. The reason why I disliked this is because Mann lied and tried to save himself making him a coward and a liar. If I was Cooper, I would have looked at the planet and left right away, since there could be no life in an icy planet that has no oxygen. Good point.
The whole movie was neutral after that having a cliché ending because the Earth is saved and everyone is lives happily ever after. I wanted to see a movie that has a twist at the end, making the movie more interesting and fun to see. They could have added more planets that they could visited, added a scene where they communicated with aliens, or even made a scene where the world was near its end and was at war making a better reason why they should go look for another planet instead of building a giant space station so everyone could live in it like the Jetsons. But, if this would change the movie would be considered a sci-fi film and not a science/mystery category.

These are three reasons why I neither like nor disliked the film since it made me feel like it could have been better if they added and took something’s off to make it better for me t watch.
The federal state finally raises the Interest rate for the first time since 10 years. This is good for the value of the dollar and the interest rate could go up to about 2.4 percent in the next couple of years. The interest rate was held close to 0.25 to 0.50 percent to help the economy from the crisis of 2008. This will help increase the value of our dollar making prices drop down a certain percent. But the federal state is afraid that they might have to cancel and drop the interest rate down putting us back in the same situation we are now.

Gun Law/ Rights

Did you know that the United States has 70 million to 310 million guns throughout the country? One reason why we should have the right to bear arms is because they help us in self-defense situations a criminal will think twice before trying to rob someone if they know the person they are robbing is armed. It will help reduce crime because people can take action into their own hands. Store robbers will need to reconsider robbing a store if the owner has a gun. Teachers could carry guns in case an intruder is in the building to prevent high amounts of casualties.
Bearing arms is an American right. The government cannot take away our right to bear arms because it will give total control to the government. The constitution was made so the people can over throw the government in case they have gone corrupt or are failing to do its job. If they take away our guns, the criminals who illegally obtain them will have the upper hand and leave us vulnerable to them. Even though the government provides us with protection sometimes they cannot be everywhere and people need to take action into their own hands.
We need control of our guns. Regulating the guns would be a much better decision since no one needs a light machine gun to defend themselves with all they need is a small pistol. Regulating the guns will not only stop horrific crimes from occurring, it prevents criminals from purchasing these high caliber weapons easily in the United States. We could regulate guns so that gun stores only offer weapons that are considered morally right: a pistol with only a magazine of 5 bullets. Compared to what a person that could buy an Ak-47 with a drum magazine that has 200 bullets. We could then stop selling magazines that have more than 5 bullets.

These are the reasons why we should have the right to bears arms but with regulations to help stop abusive owners or criminals.Image result for gun laws
